Fascism

Back in 2009, Laura Ingraham revised a well known poem about the holocaust:
"First they came for the communists RICH and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the
trade unionists, PROPERTY OWNERS and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the
Jews RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, and I did not speak out—because I was not a jew;
Then they came for me
(AND DENIED ME MY MEDICAL CARE
)—and there was no one left to speak out for me."

The fascists of the 20th Century hated communism, unions, homosexuals, and members of other races and religions. Does such hate-filled exclusiveness sound familiar in today's political environment?
